'Sky Snake', Serpent Type, Daylight UFO Over Sunderland UK, July 28 2014
Witness Statement: The first sighting was film by my friend around 8pm Sunday July 20th. Location was Pennywell housing estate, Sunderland with near perfect conditions. The sighting lasted a while due to how slow the UFO was moving however it was twisting abd turning. It was filmed on a Fuji Bridge camera on 20x optical zoom mounted on a tripod.
Second
sighting was July 28th, Monday. 2pm. Gordon, my mate brought the
footage to my house. I'd not seen it as I'd been at work all week (back
shift) When he came he brought his camera and because of recent events
we went to do a sky watch as it was a clear summers day.
I live on a farm so I use the surrounding fields. After sitting a couple of hours nothing was happening so we prepared to head back. Just then Gordon's daughter rang. The UFO was back and moving our way. Unable to see it we jumped into my car and went to her so we could see what it was. On the way Gordon spotted it and I pulled over. He had his camera and I had my binoculars. As Gordon filmed by hand on Maximum zoom I watched. It just looked like a bubble at first. Upon sorting the focus I noticed the sun was shining on it giving a flare. It was silver with silver objects around it one like a sphere. These can be seen on some of the pictures. One looked like it came out the object but am not sure due to hand shake on high zoom. Then for a second the flare dropped off and it looked like a disc but on it's side. It was very very high and hard to see and getting harder. Upon arrival to Gordon's his daughter said it was one object then it split into two. The one we were looking at was one of the two. One went north and one went west.
All in all a strange day. I've also been told a UAV passed last week but not at high altitude but extremely low following the lie of the land. Under radar maybe? Upon Google search it appears it was a French UAV, grey in colour. Hope this helps.
